A WORD ABOUT BATTERIES…

The lithium batteries used in the SP-3 were chosen because they offer significant advantages over existing conventional batteries.

These advantages include extremely long 10-year shelf life, greater reliability and superior resistance to the leakage and corrosion common to regular batteries, without sacrificing "burn times" (the amount of time a flashlight produces useful light before battery life ends). In addition, by using these batteries, we were able to design a powerful light which remains small, lightweight, comfortable to hold, and which even floats.

Recognizing that some customers may still feel that it might be difficult or expensive to find replacement batteries, we offer our SP-3 customers convenient delivery of spare batteries at no additional cost…our customers pay only a reasonable postage and handling fee* to have them mailed directly to their door.
